How to make Punjabi Wadi Aur Matar Ki Sukhi Sabzi | Punjabi Dal Dumpling and Peas Stir Fry | Urad Dal Wari Recipe |Punjabi Wadiyan Recipe
Hello Friends,
Today I'm going to share one more delectable and easy recipe of Punjabi Wadiyan. Sharing recipe with step by step pictures.
Dal Wadiyan aka Badiyan is a popular vegetarian dish in North India. Wadi or Vadi is basically sun dried dumpling made with soaked lentils or pulses and then blended with black peppercorns, red chillies and other Indian spices.
These wadiyan can be easily picked from the grocery shops in India. In today's recipe I'm using Urad dal Masala Wadiyan, which were purchased by my dear sister all the way from Delhi. The quality and taste of badi was very good and the best part these wadiyan got cooked very fast that too without pressure cooker.

Today's recipe is very simple and easy recipe of the Urad dal masala wadi. This is religiously prepared and most preferred recipe in my house. I would rather call this recipe as "Roz ka Khana"..
Normally urad dal wadis are deep or shallow fried, but I had skipped the frying part and followed the healthy version of cooking for this recipe i.e. boiling and stir frying.
