Thecha

How to make Green Chilli Thecha, Harvi Mirchi cha Kharada, Maharashtra Famous Condiment Recipe Thecha - Hot and spicy garlic green chilli chutney, Roasted Dry Garlic Chutney

Hello Friends,

My today's blog post recipe is Green Chilli Thecha. Sharing authentic recipe of Maharashtrian dry garlic green chilli chutney with a stepwise pictorial guide.

Thecha is a marathi word which means to pound or crush. Thecha recipe is originated in the rural parts of Maharashtra, but now prepared across many states of India.

Thecha is an extremely hot and spicy chutney made with green chillies, garlic, raw peanuts and coriander leaves.. You'll find many variations of this preparation, but garlic and chillies are one of the most essential ingredients of this spicy condiment.

Thecha is my one of the most favorite chutney and I would love to have this chutney every day with all my meals.. Trust me, this relish surely going to add lots of excitement to your meals.. Plus, it'll make you feel good and energetic and best food for your immune system. Though this is super hot chutney but you can control spice level as per your taste... and more so the addition of peanuts and a few drops of lemon juice makes it heavenly delightful. The addition of lemon juice is not in the authentic recipe, but lemon is one awesome ingredient which creates magic with chillies and works as a blessing to control the spice level of chillies.. The addition of lemon is my creativity and it worked for me.
