How to make Masala Chaas |  Masala Chaas With Boondi & Homemade Pudina Chaas Masala Powder 


Hello Friends,

I'm back with one more summer special,  refreshing and healthy drink recipe for you.. It is must have in every summer season.  The best thing about this refreshing summer cooler is that it is made with Desi style and more so it is prepared with  the homemade chaas masala powder and homemade curd.

Masala Chaas is religiously prepared drink in my house in every summer season.  It is the best way to cool oneself in  this blazing heat. It works great on our digestive system.  Addition of boondi works great in this chaas masala recipe.

Today's recipe is prepared in purely desi style. I believe, when we follow desi methods, we are actually doing justice to these recipes.  


Let's get started  - recipe details 

  • Preparation time 5 minutes 
  • Cooking time nil
  • Servings 2 glasses 
  • Cuisine Indian 



Ingredients required 

  • 1 cup fresh homemade curd
  • 3-4 cups water - preferably chilled
  • 1 tsp chaas masala powder
  • 1-2 tsp coriander leaves - finely chopped 
  • 1 green chilli - finely chopped - optional
  • Salt to your taste 


Method 
✅Step 1 Mise en place 

◾Boondi - soak boondi in hot  water for 3-5 seconds. Very quickly, drain the water, wash under running tap water, keep it aside until called for. This way we can get rid of excess oil from boondi and make it light, tasty and more desirable in our masala chaas.





✅Step 2 Chaas preparation 
◾In a deep bowl or chaas pot, add curd, chaas masala powder, green chillies coriander leaves and salt to taste. Blend all the ingredients with the help of chaas churner. Mix together until creamy and smooth.  Add cold water and stir.  Add soaked boondi and stir again. Finally, add ice cubes in a tall glass, add a masala chaas  with boondi. Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves.  Serve it chilled.
