Today I am going to share one more recipe of lemongrass & ginger tea. It is made with milk. Sharing recipe with step by step pictures..



In India, Chai means tea made by boiling tea with milk, sugar and spices. Chai with milk is the most preferred form of tea in India. 




Lemongrass Ginger Tea is a flavored beverage made by brewing black tea with lemon grass and ginger. Make your regular tea a twist with the lemongrass leaves this winter..


Today's tea post is devoted to all the tea lovers. If you're someone who's morning and evening is not complete without a cup of tea with milk, then you'll going to love this tea a lot..

Recipe details 

  • Preparation time 2-3 minutes 
  • Cooking time 5-10 minutes 
  • Serving 2-3

Ingredients required 

  • 1½ cups water
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 3-4 tsp sugar or as preferred
  • 2-3 tsp black tea
  • 2-3 tsp roughly chopped Lemon grass
  • 1tsp peeled grated ginger



Method 

◾Bring water to boil in a medium saucepan.






◾Add the grated ginger and the roughly chopped and washed lemongrass. Allow it to brew for 2-3 minutes.






◾ Add sugar and black tea. Brew it on medium flame for 2-3 minutes 




◾ Add the milk. Mix it well. Bring it to boil and then simmer for 3-4 minutes.. Continue stirring in between.





◾Strain with the help of tea strainer or pour tea through a strainer into cups. Discard the lemongrass tea mixture. Serve it immediately..
