I'm back with one more spicy, super yummy, healthy and interesting chutney recipe for you. Sharing Palak Thecha aka spicy lehsuni Palak chutney recipe with step by step pics in gif format.


Today's Palak chutney recipe is my creativity. This recipe is very simple, fast to cook, good to eat recipe.. I'm really addicted to this preparation. I strongly recommend you to give it a try, you'll simply love it.. This is a super duper hit recipe in my house. I think this is one of the best way to incorporate spinach in our daily diet. If you are a spinach and garlic fan, this recipe is for you.

☑Recipe details

▫Cooking time 8-10 minutes


☑Ingredients required 


✔1 Small Bunch Palak Leaves (Spinach)
✔1 garlic bulb
✔5-6 green chillies or as per preference 
✔1 tbsp lemon juice
✔Pinch of turmeric powder 
✔Salt to taste 
✔1tbsp cooking oil or ghee



☑Method 


✔Step 1 Mise en place 

Palak leaves - Washed thoroughly under running tap water - take out excess water - remove the stems and roughly chop it. And then, in the boiling water, add the pinch of cooking soda and immerse the spinach leaves for 2-3 minutes and then very quickly keep it under normal tap water for few seconds. Drain off the excess water and keep it aside until called for. 

✔Step 2 Cooking time

◾Heat oil in a non stick fry pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and stir fry for around 3-5 minutes until nicely cooked and at the same time color changes to golden light brown..

◾Add green chilies and blanched spinach leaves, sautรฉ it for a min or two. 

◾Add salt and a pinch of turmeric powder. 

◾Switch off the gas stove. Leave it to cool down slightly and then add lemon juice and make a coarse paste in the mixer grinder jar. Adjust cooking oil as per your preference, if needed, add a few drops of hot cooking oil or ghee.




◾Our healthy, spicy awesomely delicious Palak chutney is ready to serve.
