Ha ha ha, sounds funny, but after starting cleaning work for Diwali,  we seriously need someone to help us. This month will going to be very hectic for me as well as very few days are left for Diwali. So my blog posting will also be going to affect very badly due to this SAFAAI ABHIYAAN.😂



Today's blog post recipe is a very famous Indian sweet dish made with thickened milk and flavored with cardamom powder and dry fruits. Sharing Sitaphal Basundi recipe with the stepwise images.



Sitaphal Basundi is an Indian dessert famous in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. It is a sweet dish made with thickened milk and sugar and flavored with Sitaphal pulp, nuts and cardamom powder.



As Sitaphal aka custard apples are back in season, Yeh recipe to banti hai!😆 For this recipe, removing pulp from Sitaphal is little bit time consuming,  but it came out very smoothly with the help of two forks. 






Today's recipe is a must try recipe for Sitaphal lovers. it is purely divine in taste, so surprise your loved one's with this Sitaphal Basundi this Diwali.

☑Let's get started...

▫Recipe type Sweet dish - Desert 
▫Cuisine Indian 
▫Preparation time 15-20 minutes 
▫Cook time 40- 45 minutes 
▫Servings 4-5


☑Ingredients required 

✔1000 ml full cream milk - I prefer Amul gold full cream milk
✔1-2 Custard apples 
✔3-4 tbsp - mixed dry fruits as per your taste
✔6-7 tsp sugar or as per preference
✔1 tsp cardamom powder



☑Method 

✔Step 1 Mise en place

Custard Apples - Wash - pat dry - scoop out the pulp with the seeds- de seed - remove the pulp - keep it aside until called for.





Dry fruits - roughly chopped.

✔Step 2 Cooking time

◾Boil the milk in a heavy bottomed pan.



◾When it starts boiling, reduce the flame and cook it on slow flame for about 25-30 minutes until reduced to half of the original quantity. 



◾Continue stirring in between to avoid sticking to the bottom. 



◾Add sugar and dry fruits. Mix it well cook it again on slow flame for approximately 8-10 minutes.



◾Add cardamom powder mix it well.



 ◾Take it away from flame, allow it to come to room temperature and then add Sitaphal pulp mix it well. 



◾Sitaphal Basundi is ready. Keep it in the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes... 



◾Serve chilled.
