Amla Coriander Chutney

How to make Amla Ki Hari Chutney, Amla coriander chutney, Indian Gooseberry & Coriander Chutney..



Amla aka Indian Gooseberry is the powerhouse of the nutrients and one of the most important ingredients used in Ayurveda medicine for thousands of years....



Did you know amla contains 20 times more vitamin C as orange juice. Vitamin C is very much needed and essential for building block of collagen, protect us against cold and flu, good for bone health, hemoglobin formation, wound healing, better absorption of calcium in our body, and have anti aging properties.



Amla coriander chutney is the best way to get the daily dose of vitamin C. But amla has a bitter, astringent, sour and very unique taste, so that's why it is not the first choice of many people. Amla in this form is very much desirable as the ingredients which goes in this chutney enhance the taste of amla. After trying amla in this form, trust me, you will be surprised as why haven't you explored this healthy combination before...

☑ Recipe details

☑ Ingredients required

  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Amla
  • 1tbsp of roasted peanuts
  • 1tbsp roasted chana dal
  • 5-6 green chillies or as per taste
  • 2tsp sugar
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste


☑ Method 

♨ Step 1 Mise en place


◾Green coriander leaves - washed and chopped 

◾Amla - Washed, roughly chopped and stone removed 

◾Green chillies - washed, stem removed, end trimmed and chopped.

◾Onion peeled and roughly chopped 

♨ Step 2 Grinding 

◾Take a mixer grinder jar, add all the ingredients i.e coriander leaves, amla, green chillies, roasted Chana dal, roasted peanuts, sugar, lemon juice and salt to taste. Add ⅓ cup water and blend till smooth. Transfer it into a serving bowl.



◾Serve right away or store it in an airtight container and refrigerate.

      Roasted chana dal is a variety of Chickpea (Bengal Gram). It is obtained by roasting chana dal. It is also called as Daria Dal and Chane ki dal.

    1. Thank you so much friend. Yes, it could be possible as my this recipe is very popular in many social networking sites especially in Pinterest. So, when something become super duper hit, some people start copying content as well as images... I started adding blog name, web page address in all my images, still images are used without permission.. I mean at least they mention source of image..
