How to make flax seeds dry fruit powder?


Hello Friends, 

I am back with one more interesting and healthy recipe of flax seeds. Today's recipe is yummy, healthy and tasty alternative to plain flax seeds powder. If you remember a few days ago I had shared blog post related to flax seeds, knee pain and how and when you should use flax seeds. 



Today's post is a sequel to my earlier blog post. Both the recipes were designed for mom, considering her knee problem. I am very glad and excited to share with you all that flax seeds and dry fruit mix have given excellent results and mom is feeling much better. This is a truly awesome feel for me as my small effort helped mom to some extent.



Flaxseeds, are also known as linseeds. This tiny seed is a nutritional superstar and not only an excellent source of fiber, but also a very good vegetarian source of omega 3 fatty acids.


This flax seeds dry fruit mix is a must try recipe for all those who want to enjoy a healthy life, good relief from knee and back pain, beautiful, smooth glowing skin and healthy shiny hair. All the ingredients added in this recipe are going to enhance the taste of flax seeds.

☑Recipe details :


⚫Prep time 10-12 minutes 
⚫Cook Time 10-12 minutes 
⚫Type healthy breakfast supplement 
⚫best time to eat morning time
⚫how much you need   1tbsp with breakfast.
⚫How to eat - As it is or with water or milk 


☑Ingredients required :


▪100 grams flaxseeds 
▪100 grams almonds
▪100 grams dry dates
▪100 grams walnuts
▪50 grams khus khus (poppy seeds)
▪50 grams dry coconut - khopra
▪50 grams Mishri (crystal sugar/ khadi sakhar/ rock sugar)
▪10-12 green cardamom



☑ Method⬇
♨Step 1 Dry roasting of flax seeds


◾Dry roast the Flax seeds on slow flame for 3-5 minutes until you hear cracking sound. Keep aside until called for.


♨ Step 2 Dry roasting of cardamom and dry fruits


◾Dry roast following ingredients on slow flame for 3-5 minutes - Cardamom, almonds, poppy seeds, walnuts, dry coconut and dry dates. Allow them to cool down completely.



♨ Step 3 Grinding of all ingredients


◾After cool down first grind flax seeds and rock sugar then dry dates and all other ingredients together and mix all well. Our flax seeds dry fruit mixture is ready. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator to prevent them from becoming rancid. Breakfast time is best time to eat this flax seeds dry fruit mix . 1 tbsp is sufficient for daily consumption.








☑Notes:


◾Increase water intake once you take up eating this flax seed dry fruit powder. Flaxseed is excellent in fiber content. As fiber absorbs water, so for that you need to increase your water intake on a high fiber food.

◾As per Ayurveda, flax seeds are hot, heavy, pungent in nature and in case of prolonged usage, it imparts lots of heat so best is consumed flax seeds in moderation and also please consult your doctor or physician before starting this diet.

◾Flax seeds are best suited for winter season..

◾.Flax seeds get rancid very fast so storing in a cool place is very important and prepare this powder in small quantity.

    But I live in a hot & humid climate....would it be ok?
    Already have GERD, don't want to further aggravate it....
