They are packed with flavors and very addictive and will leave you craving for more. . These Pakoras are very crispy from outside and soft and chewy inside.


Sanna Pakoras, a Sindhi delicacy is very popular and scrumptious fritters made with besan (gram flour) and onions and spiced with coriander seeds, ajwain, pomegranate seeds, green chillies and Indian spices. The USP of this Sanna Pakora Recipe is that double frying method is applied for this crispy fritter preparation.


Sanna Pakoras are delicious in taste and enjoyed as an appetizer or an evening snack with a cup of tea. It is also very popular food in celebrations, ceremonies, get together, birthday events and parties. This Pakora  recipe is very easy to make and it will not take much time of yours.

◾INGREDIENTS REQUIRED FOR SANA PAKORA

⚫150 g Besan (Gram flour)
⚫1tbsp cornflour (optional)
⚫2 onions, finely chopped
⚫6-7 green chillies, finely chopped
⚫1tbsp cilantro leaves, chopped
⚫3tsp coriander seeds
⚫1tsp ajwain
⚫1tsp pomegranate seeds, crushed
⚫2tsp red chilly powder
⚫½tsp baking soda
⚫Salt to taste
⚫½ cup water
⚫Oil for deep frying



◾COOKING INSTRUCTION

✔ Step 1 - BATTER PREPARATION

♨ In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except cooking oil. i.e. (besan, onions,  corn flour, cilantro leaves, green chillies, coriander seeds, ajwain, pomegranate seeds, red chilly powder, baking soda and salt to taste).


♨ Add water and mix it up to form a thick and lump free batter of dropping consistency.



✔ STEP 2: DEEP FRYING 

♨ Heat oil in a heavy bottomed deep frying pan.


♨Drop big spoonfuls of batter and fry them on medium heat, see to it, they are properly cooked from inside. Add only 3-4 Pakora in the pan. Don't over crowd them in the pan. Fry them on both the sides until very light brown & drain out. 



♨ Transfer it to a plate, let them slightly cool down. Thin out the big pakoras to a smaller size.







♨ Fry them again till they get crispy and golden brown.



♨ Remove them out onto a paper towel layered plate. 


♨ Serve hot with spicy green chutney and tomato sauce.
