I'm back with one more authentic recipe for you. This recipe is dedicated to my grandpa. It is his all time favorite food. Sharing recipe with step by step photos.

Moringa Oleifera is an evergreen tree native to North India.. Did you know, Moringa Oleifera is also known as Drumstick tree as the long pods of this tree resembles like drum sticks. It is praised for its health benefits for thousands of years. It is called as a powerhouse of nutrients as having tremendous healing properties. It is rich in vitamins, calcium, iron and essential amino acids.

Let's get started - Recipe details 

  • Prep time 12-15 minutes 
  • Cook time 15-20 minutes 
  • Category side dish 
  • Cuisine - Indian 
  • Serves 2-3

Ingredients needed 
  • 5-6 no. Drumsticks pods
  • 1-2 tsp black pepper powder or as needed 
  • Salt to your taste 
  • 1-2 tsp ghee / cooking oil



Method 

✔️Step 1 Mise en place

Drumstick pods - wash - peel - cut into 3 inch pieces.




✔️Step 2 Boil

◾Add required amount of water in a saucepan in which drumstick pods get nicely cooked. Add 1-2 tsp salt or as required. Add the drumstick pieces and bring to a boil. Cook until it becomes soft. Keep it aside until called for.






✔️3. Stir Fry


◾Heat a tawa, when it's hot, add ghee or cooking oil. Place the drumstick pods. Stir fry and cook for 3-5 minutes. Sprinkle fresh crushed black pepper powder, toss it well.









◾Serve it hot.
