Hello Friends,

Chaas aka buttermilk is a very refreshing, healthy and yummilicious yogurt based staple drink in many Indian houses in every summer season.

Did you know chaas is considered as sattvic food in Ayurveda! It works as a great thirst quencher and very beneficial for our digestive system, keep our body cool and hydrated during the hot summer season.

The source of inspiration for this recipe is my niece. Whenever she visits our place, she always insists me to prepare mint buttermilk for her. She has also requested me to teach same recipe to her mommy. ha ha ha.. My sister is a good cook, but I think this is quite normal these days, Kids, when they like something, they want an exact same taste.. I'm sure this chaas masala help her a lot to enjoy her favorite drink whenever she wants.

You know the best thing about having this chaas masala, it helps me to just open one bottle while preparing this chaas for my family. So I think, it surely speeds up my work and will always give me a perfect and desired taste..

I had purposely skipped dry ginger powder and added black pepper in moderation as wanted to gift this chaas masala powder to my niece. But if dry ginger suits you, add according to your taste.
